The amazonian rainforest

The Amazonian Rainforest covers half of the territory of Brazil and extends to Colombia, Venezuela, Peru and Ecuador. The region is covered by tropical rainforest; its size is 5.5 square kilometers, it is the largest of the planet and the richest in biodiversity. there is  a great variety of animals, mainly insects, birds and primates.
