The amazonian rainforest

The Amazonian Rainforest covers half of the territory of Brazil and extends to Colombia, Venezuela, Peru and Ecuador. The region is covered by tropical rainforest; its size is 5.5 square kilometers, it is the largest of the planet and the richest in biodiversity. there is  a great variety of animals, mainly insects, birds and primates. But Unfortunately, It has begun to be destroyed by people.  It is estimated that the Amazon rainforest is home of a lot of species like, Spider-dolphins River, constrictor boas, anacondas, tapirs, peccaries, Jaguars, monkeys, sloths, armadillos, alligators are some of the most known species. There you can be able  to see toucans, parrots, macaws, hummingbirds and hawks and  butterflies . The great river blanket electric eels, piranhas, while, piraracus, painted. We can also find a variety of plants such as Lotus that is typical in this region, the flora and fauna of this region are very important, and this gave it the name of the lungs of our planet
